WINBURN for State Representative
40th House District  Hello and welcome to my website. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. I am proud to serve the people of the State of Ohio and the people of the 40th House District. Effective January 5, 2009, I was sworn in by Ohio’s Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer to represent the people of the 40th House District. Soon thereafter, the Speaker of the House, Armond Budish, appointed me to the Ways and Means of which I am the Vice Chair, also the Health, Urban Housing and Revitalization, and Brownfield and Greenfield Redevelopment Committees. Each Monday and Friday, I am engaged with or otherwise advised of the concerns of constituents, civic groups, various organizations, governments, and businesses some of which incorporate visiting those establishments. The goal of these interactions is to solve problems, discuss issues, or learn more about those things that matters most with people or institutions within the 40th House District. These first few months of the year, the House of Representatives passed a Transportation Budget augmented with Federal Stimulus Dollars. In the upcoming weeks, we will present an Operations Budget for approval by the Senate and ultimately the Governor. Throughout the remaining weeks of the year, it is my intent to shape information for the purpose of introducing a choice of bills.
